Any good builds with RtW?
I love the skill Read the Wind, and I was wondering if I could get some of you ranger experts out there to post a good ranger build with this skill on it for PvE. I also like ED now, but it's not necessary (i understand its not the greatest elite for pve). Thanks in advance,
Dean Harper

A quick ED and RtW combo I just made up
[Ranger;OgASc5MT8awG3lqGPGVgzkCA]
Alternative BHA combo I use for Vanquishing.
[Ranger;OgMT8mLnZyV6xoCE2QVcXMmUmAA]
Daze + increased attack speed + increased arrow speed + Ebon Sin + finish him = trouble for any monk.
Anyways good luck!

My favourite PvE build:
Sloth, Penetrate, Sundering, savage shot, distracting shot, Practiced Shot, RtW, (rez)/optional.
I never run out of energy, and it's a bit of a spamfeast. Still nice dmg output though (singletarget). This is for PvE/Ab btw (sometimes even in RA ).
A variant i use sometimes is with your prefered elite:
Expert Dext, RtW, Sloth, savage, distracting, optional, optional, (rez)/optional.
The PvP (GvG) build i run with my guild is a well known (maybe slightly different) Expert RtW build and consists of:
ED, RtW, Sloth, Savage, Distract, Hunter shot, antidote, flesh of my flesh.

tbh your build works around your elite not your preparation so imo depending on your elite u chose what preparation is more suited for your build

please use skill tags:
[ skill]skill name[/skill] (w/out space in first skill tag)

Most builds that use [experts dexterity], [prepared shot], or [punishing shot] benefit pretty well from rtw.

[Prepared Shot][Distracting Shot][Sloth Hunter's Shot] or [Keen Arrow][Concussion Shot][Read The Wind][Troll Unguent][Natural Stride] Res
More suited for PvP, but still fun to use in PvE.

^ For PvE I find Prepared Shot's best usage in running the pew pew build:
[Prepared Shot][Penetrating Attack][Sundering Attack][Distracting Shot][Savage Shot][Read the Wind][Lightning Reflexes][empty]
For the record I usually use [Expert Focus] instead of RtW, but trying to stay on topic, and it's not a bad choice.
Edit: just noticed Tyla's already got this build up there. GRRRR

[Expert's Dexterity][Read the Wind][Point Blank Shot][Zojun's Shot][I Am the Strongest][Distracting Shot][Savage Shot][Asuran Scan]
I ran this build with Glass Arrows as the Elite and it did more Damage per shot, however with the constant IAS this build does more DPS. With Glass Arrows I could never find an IAS I liked that is 100% maintainable.
Also with the 2 Marks man Bonus this build has room to add a Conjure if you felt like it,
Exp 15 or 16
the Rest in Marksmanship

[Prepared Shot][Sundering Attack][Penetrating Attack][Read The Wind][Distracting Shot] has been posted, but the other skills arent really necessary. In pve I prefer a coupla pve skills to the others they usually bring. Asuran Scan, Finish Him, Ebon Battle Standard of Honor and Pain Inverter are the ones I usually have to choose between.

Favwinds is really only good when your team has more then one ranger that is benefiting from it. Otherwise it may be better to use a basic Pve skill ( ["dodge this!"] ) because monsters benefit from Favwinds as well.

The beastery don't benefit from favourable winds as I don't benefit from thier spirits atleast I think.I don't use spirits as often as I use to.

Their rangers do benefit from favourable winds, the effects of nature rituals extend to all creatues in their range, friend or foe.

The new [Incendiary Arrows] should work well with it.
